The Design: To brighten and soften this rather dark and hard looking room, we brought graceful swags of white voile out from the center of the dance floor. We pulled the vertical drape tails into bold swoops to help add a bit of dynamic punctuation to the design. One tail ended up being in exactly the right spot to become a perfect backdrop to the cake table.
This client had minimal centerpieces, simple bud vases - but obviously knew that her budget was more wisely spent on ceiling drape that would really transform the room!
Note: A couple of things I would add to the design - A more graceful backdrop to the head table, and kinder lighting on the head table.
